New snow photos

I have preliminary views of a couple of photos taken in the recent snowfall.


Of course comments are welcome:




I like the various lines, and the dark red contrasting with the blue white.

I did some basic levels, curves, and saturation work in Photoshop.

I also tried to do the same photo in the Gimp, but maybe I don't know the Gimp as well (very true), or Photoshop handles S2 Raw files better, but I couldn't get the photo quite the way I wanted it...

It is very red and very pasty.

Either I have to learn the Gimp, or I am stuck with Windows...

I like the stark contrast and almost monotone view.
